Basic Skills

Program Description

Basic Skills introduces and reviews basic skills at three levels in reading, writing, math, spelling, vocabulary, communication and critical thinking needed to function in society.

Basic Skills Program SLOs

  • ASE/ABE students will demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge of a course objective by applying it to a current event/issue.
  • ASE/ABE students will formulate a goal, set-up a plan of action, and evaluate success.
  • ASE/ABE students will describe how they would integrate a course principle into a real life situation.
